Today, Hogan for Maryland is launching the third TV ad of the general election. “Independent Leadership” invokes Congressman Larry Hogan Sr., the first Republican to call for President Nixon’s impeachment, and Sen. John McCain, the deciding vote against Republican efforts to repeal Obamacare.
“Strong, independent leaders can make a difference—that’s exactly what Washington needs today,” Governor Hogan says in the ad. “As President Kennedy said, “Sometimes, party loyalty demands too much.’”
Watch “Independent Leadership” on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram.
The ad is part of a more than $1 million buy that began in mid-May and is currently scheduled to run through the end of June. “Independent Leadership” will run in both the Baltimore and Washington, DC regions across broadcast, cable, and digital.
In the early going of the general election campaign, Hogan For Maryland has made over 25 stops across the state on the Strong Independent Leadership Tour, launched eight new coalitions, received six union endorsements, announced five policy initiatives, and rolled out three TV ads. The Strong Independent Leadership Tourcontinues this week with additional stops and policy announcements.
