States Attorneys Across Maryland Back Governor Hogan, Adding to Overwhelming Law Enforcement Support

Hogan for Maryland today announced the endorsements of 15 States Attorneys from every corner of Maryland, further bolstering Governor Hogan’s support from law enforcement and first responders across the state.

“In the face of sky-high crime and unprecedented threats against our local communities, law enforcement at every level deserve proven leaders who will have our backs–that’s why I’m proud to endorse Governor Larry Hogan in his campaign for the United States Senate,” Frederick County State’s Attorney J. Charles Smith said.

“Larry Hogan—my dad—is a proven leader, and I am proud to endorse him as Maryland’s next Senator. Instead of pointing fingers, blaming others, and playing politics, he will reach across the aisle and work together to deliver real results on the important issues that matter—just like he did for eight years as our governor.” St. Mary’s State’s Attorney Jaymi Sterling said.

“It’s an honor to have the support of these fifteen local leaders from across the state. I’m proud to be the pro-law enforcement candidate in this race,” Governor Hogan said. “As Governor, I was proud to work with our State’s Attorneys to improve public safety and support victims of crime—I’m looking forward to building on these efforts in the United States Senate.”
