In Ocean City, Governor Hogan Receives Local Firefighter Endorsements, Building on Union Support

At an event on the Ocean City Boardwalk today, Governor Hogan received the endorsements of the Ocean City Career Firefighter Paramedics Association IAFF Local 4269 and the Worcester County Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 4916.

“I am honored to have the endorsement of the Ocean City and Worcester fire fighters,” Governor Hogan said. “I’m immensely grateful for the Maryland firefighters who selflessly put themselves in harm’s way to protect Maryland families. Those who bravely answer the call to serve are the pride of our state. I was proud to support them as Governor, and I’ll continue to have their backs in the United States Senate.”

“The Ocean City firefighters are proud to publicly endorse a true advocate for public safety and first responders, former Governor Larry Hogan, as he seeks to continue service to our state in the United States Senate,” Ryan Whittington, President, Ocean City Firefighters, IAFF Local 4269 said. “Governor Hogan has consistently demonstrated his commitment to those on the front lines of safety. Our support for Governor Hogan isn’t just about what he has done, it’s about what he will do, and we can’t wait to see all he accomplishes in the U.S. Senate.”

“On behalf of the Worcester County Professional firefighters, it’s my honor to endorse Governor Larry Hogan in his campaign for the United States Senate,” Melissa Bragg, President, Worcester County Professional Firefighters Association, IAFF Local 4916. “Governor Hogan has demonstrated proven leadership delivering for Maryland firefighters. His commitment to standing up for firefighters and all those who protect our local communities has earned our trust and our support.”
