The Hogan For Maryland campaign issued the following statement in response to Angela Alsobrooks’ TV ad on price gouging:
“Angela Alsobrooks has made it clear that her party-line priority is to raise taxes and take more money out of the pockets of Marylanders, even as families struggling with rising costs. One of her key campaign pledges is to raise Social Security taxes on middle class Maryland families. Her tax-and-spend agenda will only deepen the affordability crisis.
“Marylanders deserve a leader who will work across the aisle to lower their tax burden and cost of living. That’s exactly what Governor Hogan did for eight years–cutting taxes every year, cutting tolls and fees, suspending the gas tax. He will continue that work in the Senate, ensuring that Marylanders keep more of what they earn.”
