“Most Marylanders and most Americans prefer straight talk to empty rhetoric and they think it’s time for less talk and more action,” Governor Hogan said in the video. “If you are completely fed up with the divisiveness and dysfunction in Washington and you want change, then vote for me to send a strong, independent leader who will stand-up and fight to clean up the mess in Washington. With your help this November, we can send a loud and clear message to all the politicians in Washington that will be heard all across America.”

Earlier this week, Governor Hogan announced a “Strong Independent Leadership Tour.” Over the next several weeks, the governor will be traveling the state putting forward bipartisan common sense solutions on the pressing challenges facing Marylanders, including crime, education, affordability, and infrastructure.

This week, Governor Hogan unveiled his 10-point crime plan to address violent crime–including steps to deal with violent offenders, back law enforcement, and support victims. Read the full crime plan here.
