Hogan for Maryland is proud to announce the endorsement of Baltimore Firefighters IAFF Local 734, representing the Professional Firefighters and Paramedics of Baltimore City. This is the latest in a growing list of first responders to endorse Governor Hogan’s campaign for United States Senate.
“Governor Hogan has proven himself to be a strong, independent leader who delivers for Baltimore and Marylanders across the state. That’s why Baltimore Firefighters IAFF Local 734 is proud to endorse him in his campaign for United States Senate,” Baltimore Firefighters IAFF Local 734 President Matthew Coster said. “To us, this choice is clear. First responders know Larry Hogan has always been on our team—we’re honored to be on his, and can’t wait to see how he continues to fight for Maryland in the United States Senate.”
“I’m honored to receive the endorsement of the brave men and women who help keep Baltimore City residents out of harm’s way and serve this community,” Governor Hogan said. “Ensuring our first responders have the resources they need is not just a priority, but a necessity, and a responsibility I was proud to uphold as Governor. As Maryland’s next Senator, I’ll continue to support our firefighters and first responders in Baltimore and every corner of our state.”
Last week at a press conference in Gaithersburg, Governor Hogan was formally endorsed by the Montgomery County Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Lodge 35, adding to the overwhelming support he has received from law enforcement leaders and organizations across the state.
