Hogan for Maryland is proud to announce the endorsement of Anne Arundel IAFF Local 1563, representing nearly 900 full-time professional firefighters and paramedics in Anne Arundel County. This is the latest in a growing list of first responders to endorse Governor Hogan’s campaign for United States Senate.
“For us, this endorsement is about loyalty. Governor Hogan has always had our backs. We know as Senator, he’ll be an asset for Anne Arundel families and fire responders alike. We look forward to working with him to continue finding ways to support Maryland firefighters and paramedics in every jurisdiction,” Anne Arundel County IAFF Local 1563 President Joe Addivinola said.
“It’s an honor to have the endorsement of the Anne Arundel professional firefighters and paramedics. Maryland’s firefighters and first responders will always know where I stand—and it’s with them,” Governor Hogan said. “I was proud to fight for them as Governor, and that’s exactly what I’ll do in the United States Senate.”
Earlier this summer, Governor Hogan joined members of Anne Arundel IAFF Local 1563, police officers, and retired first responders for Greg’s Ride, an event honoring the life of Fife Fighter Greg Leonard and his family.
