Hogan for Maryland today released the following statement from Governor Larry Hogan in response to the passing of former Senator and Vice Presidential nominee Joe Lieberman:
“In his extraordinary lifetime of public service, Senator Joe Lieberman personified the ideal of country over party. He was a true patriot and statesman who stood for tireless ideals at home and abroad. In recent years, I was honored to serve with him as National Co-Chair of No Labels for three years. Our prayers are with Joe’s wonderful wife Hadassah and all his loved ones at this difficult time.”
