Governor Hogan Statement on Final Proposed Route for MPRP

Hogan for Maryland today released the following statement from Governor Hogan following the Public Service Enterprise Group’s announcement of a final proposed route for the Maryland Piedmont Reliability Project:

“I am proud to continue to stand with all of the concerned citizens who are justifiably outraged by this project and its impact on farmland and private property across the region.

“The lack of transparency throughout this process is completely unacceptable. In the Senate, I will demand answers and ensure those responsible are held accountable.”

NOTE: In September, Governor Hogan visited a farm in Mt. Airy that would be impacted by the proposed project and met with local property owners at risk of losing their land.
