Governor Hogan Releases Statement on UN Ceasefire Resolution

Hogan for Maryland today released the following statement from Governor Larry Hogan following the United Nations’ passage of a unilateral ceasefire resolution:

The UN’s push for a unilateral ceasefire would leave Hamas intact to attack again in the future. We all want the violence to end, but the way to do that is for the hostages to be released and for Hamas leaders to immediately surrender. We must never abandon our greatest ally Israel, especially now during their hour of need.

NOTE: Earlier this month, Governor Hogan delivered a major address to the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Washington on the importance of the U.S.-Israel relationship.
