Governor Hogan kicked off Primary Eve today with a gathering of members of the Veterans for Hogan coalition at the Double T Diner in Annapolis. The governor also greeted supporters and diner patrons.

“We owe all of Maryland’s veterans a debt of gratitude that can never be repaid,” Governor Hogan said.“That was our approach to serving Maryland’s veterans when I was governor, from expanding economic opportunities for veterans to creating new state-of-the-art veterans’ care facilities in our state. In the Senate, I’ll always put our veterans first and ensure they–and their families–receive the support and recognition they rightfully deserve.”

Veterans For Hogan, chaired by Brigadier General (ret.) John Teichert, is the campaign’s inaugural coalition and includes veterans from all of Maryland’s 24 jurisdictions. General Teichert, previously a leading Republican candidate for Senate, endorsed Gov. Hogan’s candidacy in February.

This afternoon, Hogan for Maryland will hold a meet and greet in Baltimore County.
