Brigadier General John Teichert Endorses Governor Larry Hogan for United States Senate

Today, the Hogan for Maryland campaign announced that Brigadier General John Teichert has endorsed Governor Larry Hogan in his campaign for the United States Senate.

In a statement, General Teichert—who will withdraw from the Republican primary—said, “As I’ve crisscrossed Maryland, I’ve been humbled by the support and conversations with our citizens. However, I’ve concluded that it’s Governor Larry Hogan’s time – we desperately need his proven style of collaborative leadership that benefits all Marylanders at this pivotal moment in our nation’s history.”

Governor Hogan expressed his gratitude for General Teichert’s endorsement: “The General has given a lifetime of service and dedication to the country. He is a true patriot, devoted public servant, and a great Marylander. I am truly humbled to have his support, and I look forward to working alongside him to unite our party on the road to victory in November.”

As the campaign marks the end of its first week, Governor Hogan remains focused on addressing the critical issues facing Maryland and the nation, promising to bring the same level of dedication and results-driven leadership to the United States Senate that he brought to the governor’s office.
