Last night, Governor Hogan attended the Olney National Night Out in Montgomery County and Crofton National Night Out in Anne Arundel County.
“Each year, thousands of communities across the country turn out to honor the brave men and women of law enforcement while promoting police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie,” Governor Hogan said. “Maryland’s law enforcement will always be able to count on my unwavering support. I was proud to back the blue as governor, and it’s exactly what I’ll continue to do in the Senate.”
Olney National Night Out. Governor Hogan and the Hogan for Maryland team headed to Montgomery County and stopped by Olney National Night Out, where they had the opportunity to thank local law enforcement officers, and speak with residents and families.

Crofton National Night Out. After stopping in Olney, Governor Hogan headed to the Crofton National Night Out in Anne Arundel County to meet local officers and families, and celebrate the critical role first responders play in our communities.

Governor Hogan has made public safety a centerpiece of his campaign, advancing a 10-point plan to deal with violent offenders, back law enforcement, and support victims.
Earlier this week at a press conference in Gaithersburg, Governor Hogan was formally endorsed by the Montgomery County Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Lodge 35, adding to the overwhelming support he has received from law enforcement leaders and organizations across the state.
