The Hogan for Maryland campaign today announced the official endorsement of the State Law Enforcement Officers Labor Alliance (SLEOLA).
SLEOLA represents a wide array of Maryland law enforcement labor organizations, including the the Maryland State Police, the Natural Resources Police, Office of the State Fire Marshal, the Maryland Capitol Police, the Maryland Department of Health Police, the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation Police, the Maryland Department of Public Safety & Correctional Services Intelligence & Investigative Division and the Warrant Apprehension Unit, the Motor Vehicle Administration Police, and the Comptroller’s Office Field Enforcement Agents.
“From day one, Governor Hogan made it clear he had our backs, and every day since, he has lived up to that promise. He has earned the endorsement of Maryland law enforcement officers in every corner of our state,” SLEOLA President Brian Gill said. “SLEOLA is proud to back the proven pro-law enforcement candidate in this race, Governor Larry Hogan.”

This morning, Governor Hogan unveiled a 10-point plan to address violent crime–including steps to deal with violent offenders, back law enforcement, and support victims.
Governor Hogan recently announced his Strong Independent Leadership Tour,which will include meetings with law enforcement organizations and discussions about violent crime. In the last week, Governor Hogan has met with Prince George’s County FOP, the Anne Arundel County FOP, and the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association.
