The Hogan campaign raised $9.7 million by the end of the June 30th fundraising quarter—including over $6.6 million in the quarter alone. In the five-month period since Governor Hogan announced his candidacy for Senate in February to today, the campaign has already surpassed $10 million with a majority of these contributions coming from Maryland.
By comparison, the Alsobrooks campaign raised $7.7 million in the period from May 1, 2023 to April 24, 2024.
“Our campaign is incredibly humbled by the support we’ve received across the state, raising more in a few months than our opponent raised in a year,” Hogan for Maryland spokeswoman Blake Kernen said. “Marylanders are fed up with politics as usual and are hungry for strong, independent leadership in Washington to put people over politics.”
The $6.6 million for the second quarter represents a combined total across the three distinct entities of Hogan For Maryland, Hogan Victory Fund, and Better Path Forward.
